Weekends Suck

Yep that is what I think, weekends suck. They are way to short!. By the time we do our Saturday ritual, and this weekend we had to take Maggie to the groomers, and get home and do all my cleaning it is Saturday night. Then Sunday is here and it seems about 8 hours long. lol
On Friday of this week, Nana was ill. She actually got sick on Thursday evening, and started throwing up and aggravated her hernia, and got very dehydrated. I was going to try to take off work and come home and take her to the emergency room. But none of my so called help would come in to relieve me. I had to wait till I got off work at 6pm came home loaded her up in the car and take her then. Luckily we were not there very long, less than 2 hours. The Dr. checked her out worked on her hernia and got it back in, gave her an IV and re hydrated her gave her something for nausea. She got to feeling much better, then they released her, and we were home by 9pm. She felt so much better that she went to Walmart with me on Saturday and is going strong now. I think she must have ate a bad jalapeno pepper Thursday for lunch started throwing up and aggravated her hernia, and got dehydrated. Anyway she is lots better now. And I have cut her off jalapeno peppers for now.
I received 2 pictures of Hana Grace from California. They should be home this afternoon sometime. I sure do miss her blogs. Hope she put on a good show for Uncle Hollywood and Aunt Beverly Hills. I am sure they all had a good time.
We have some neighbors, Terry and Pat, they live on the corner across the street from us, well Terry gave us their old 32 inch color TV. They just bought a flat screen. So we took their old one and put it in the garage, it has picture in picture, and the sound is so good. Now we have televisions all over the house. lol Now I guess we will have to be nice to them, invite them over to watch the cowboy games, they don't have cable. Oh well, we will see.
I sure have enjoyed watching the Olympics. They always make me so proud of the youth of the United States of America.
Well that is how my weekend went. I still think Weekends Suck! Blog at you later........................
