Well it is Friday again. We are going to have a visitor this weekend. His name is Ike. I hope he doesn't stay too long, and doesn't make a mess. Ike is a hurricane that is going to hit the coast of Texas tonight sometime. We could get hurricane force winds as far north as Canton. So that means us Zoners here at Cedar Creek Lake could really get a good blow job. lol
Nana and I went to wally world this morning and got some batteries and picked up a weather alert radio. We should have had that radio long before now. We are both scared of any type of bad weather.
We have so many very tall trees, I just have a feeling that we may lose some of them. Sure hope not, but you can never tell. Brad will be home for this, thank God. We do have a generator, and I filled my car up today. We have plenty of candles, I also feel like we will loose electricity at some point. It is not common for us to lose power with just a little wind storm, and this is going to be a really bad wind and rain storm. The only good thing about it is that it is suppose to move through very fast, like in about 18 to 24 hours it should all be over.
Brad went fishing with Mark and Glenda a little while ago. He said they think the fish will be biting before Ike hits. Who knows. I told him not to bring any fish home.
I am so proud that Hana Grace's Aunt Victoria and Pop Pop Wayne no longer live in Galveston.
They moved up here just recently. Thank God they are up here now.
Well I had better go for now, I am glued to the weather channel. They are saying that it is worse than they ever thought.
   Blog at you later..................................

Y'all Creekers better be safe. If you're without power for too long you need to head this way. Jenn and I have room. We'll make room for all of you. I'm worried about our power as well. Way up here by the Red River it goes out if someone sneezes too hard it seems.
Brad Boy and them better get their tails home before Ike comes to visit.
I'm so glad Tropical Storm Hanna didn't turn into a hurricane. That would've made for some good newspaper clippings for Hana's baby book though.
Y'all be safe.
