Today is the Friday before Memorial Day. We would usually have our Zone Fest party tomorrow the Saturday before Memorial Day, but I chose to cancel this year and reschedule it at a later date. Everyone seems to understand, and that is a good thing.
This week has been really nice. The weather has been so nice. It should be a good Holiday weekend for the lake. The county sheriffs have already arrived here at the lake. They started early this year. I figure the Game Wardens will be here later today and have plenty of them on the water by tomorrow.
Jennifer is not coming this weekend, she will be down next weekend and I think we may try to go to Canton First Monday.
Nana said the catfish have just about stopped biting down at the lake where she fishes. When the temperatures start rising, the fish will quit biting from the bank. She has caught plenty this year, we have quite a few bags of fish in the freezer.

Hope you all have a good holiday, too. We are heading to McKinney in the morning to see Hana Grace, Courtney, Joe, and our Pagan! Pagan has not been feeling well and we need to go give her some of our love...and Gramp needs to re-introduce himself to Hana!
