Sizzil'n Saturday in the Zone

Gee gads its hot. Saturday in the Zone, let's see. Yep 99% of the zoners were at wally world with me and Nana today. What a trip. I had 2 encounters this morning. Now this is strange, but not really, I know these people from working at the Dairy Queen, talk to them every time I see them, but could not tell you their name for anything. Lol. As usual we got some he-she checker to check us out. I swear she forgot to shave this morning. I have a regular checker I like to use but she wasn't there when we were, so we had to use this He-she thing. She had to check every ad we had, I'd bet she could not read just looked at the pictures. Well we got all our stuff loaded up and when we got home Brad boy carried it all in for us. We took Maggie Mae to the vet this morning early, for her shots. She has been favoring her leg she broke when she was a puppy, so we had the vet check it out. The vet thinks she may have aggravated it some way and gave us some medicine to give her everyday through a syringe in the mouth. Bet that is going to be easy. She only weighed a little over 5 1/2 lbs. So if she every shows her face again this afternoon I am going to try and give her some medicine. Well I did some cleaning today, my usual Saturday crap, and now I am worn out. I am ironing my clothes for the week. Jenn Ellen sent me the neatest get well card the other day. She is quite the crafter.

Maggie just came in my room so I gave her medicine, she took it pretty good..Hope she continues to take it this well. I took her outside, damn it is hot out there and the darn wind is still blowing like a hurricane. Not many boats out on the lake this weekend. With the gas prices so high I don't see how people are going to afford being out on the lake on the weekends. Later...............

Sounds like an exciting time in the Zone! I read about all the vegetables out of the garden. Can't wait until the 4th for some of those good, fresh tomatoes!! My mouth is watering just thinking about them.

Get your rest!
